Park Avenue Medians

The Park Avenue medians beween 57th St and 59th St in Manhattan is an unaccesible stretch of land above a metro line, and sandwiched between two roads. The proposal aims to create a pedestrian area, to be used as a public art space. Taking a sculptural parametric form as a semi enclosure, and stretched over three blocks, it is a reinterprentation of a longhouse.
